New Food Additives: China NHC Approves Seven New Food Additives and Food-Related Products
Two colourants, namely, Tomato red and Carmine cochineal, are permitted to be used in more food categories now.
As per the notice released on September 7, 2022, China National Health Commission (NHC) approved the use of three new food additives and four food-related products. The details are as follows:
Three New Food Additives
One new enzyme preparation and two food additives with expanded application scope are involved.
One new enzyme preparation
