European Union & United Kingdom
On March 21, 2023, ECHA updated the Community Rolling Action Plan (CoRAP) for the year 2023-2025, listing 24 substances suspected of posing a risk to human health or the environment. The plan contains 6 substances that will be evaluated in 2023, while 9 will be evaluated in 2024 and another 9 in 2025. (Read more)

On March 14, 2023, White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) released a state of science report on PFAS. The report summarizes current PFAS research in key strategic areas, including safe removal and destruction of PFAS and alternatives to PFAS that are safer, as well as gaps in PFAS data and knowledge.
