China to Ban and Restrict Over 70 Pesticide Products from 2023
According to the list of banned and restricted pesticide products in China, the ban dates of some pesticide products are approaching.
2,4-D butylate will be banned from January 23, 2023.Methyl bromide can be used for \”quarantine fumigation treatment\” and is forbidden in agriculture. Methidathion has no registered preparation. The legally produced products of Phorate, Isofenphos-methyl, Isocarbophos and Ethoprophos can be sold and used within the warranty period, and will be prohibited for sale and use from September 1, 2024.
So far, 50 kinds of pesticides have been banned or will be banned in China, and 20 kinds of pesticides have been banned in some scope.
