The standard expanded the scopes of the hygiene pesticide products to mosquito mat and mosquito vapor and set series of technical requirements in product designing, manufacturing, emission of the hazardous substances, packaging, recycling, and limited the levels of fusible heavy metal contained in the disc mosquito coils.

For controlling on the hazardous substances and chemicals, requirements and limits are summarized below:

All the mosquito coil products shall not be added with BHT, BHA and the Phthalates;

The mosquito vapor products shall not be added with benzene, toluene, xylene and ethylbenzene;

The HCFCs shall not be applied as the foaming agent in the packing materials;

The accumulated level of the Pb, Cd, Hg, and Cr VI shall not exceeded 100mg/Kg in the packing materials;

Limits of the levels of fusible heavy metal in the disc mosquito coils

fusible heavy metals limits
Pb ≤90
Cd ≤25
Cr ≤60
Hg ≤20
As ≤8
