REACH24H Attends the Chemical Regulatory Symposium

September 04, 2013, REACH24H was invited to Beijing by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (referred to as the “CPCIF”) to participate in the research on China and EU chemical management launched by French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy. Delegates and experts from French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, CPCIF, REACH24H and other companies jointly attended the symposium.

This visit was mainly related with the implementation of cooperation signed by Sino-French leaders in April this year, and representatives from all parties discussed the issues on EU chemical management regulations and their implementation in France, chemical management and relevant laws currently used in China as well as China-EU trade in chemicals.

During the meeting, Nathan Chen, Deputy General Manager of REACH24H, made a speech on the great achievements won by REACH24H in the process of overcoming the difficulties to help enterprises comply with REACH regulations. Bob White,(Product Development Director &Diplomat of Certified Toxicologist)and Rita Qiu,(Manager of the Technological Department ,an expert in GHS and Toxicology),  conducted in-depth communication and discussion with the French representatives on the issues of characteristics of chemical management in China, problems encountered by Chinese enterprises during REACH compliance, and differences of GHS between China and EU.

In the end, the participants all spoke highly of the symposium and agreed on enhancing communication of chemical management and calling for more exchanges and cooperation in the future.
