The Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) promulgated Decree No. 7 – ‘Measures on Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances’ (also known as ‘China New Chemical Substance Notification’ – China NCN) in 2009, which revised the initial 2003 Measures. The revised Measures came into effect on 15th October 2010.
