REACH24H Attends 2012 InaChem in Indonesia

July 11-13, 2012, REACH24H attended the 2nd annual InaChem, Indonesia’s largest chemical B2B exposition. The event was jointly hosted by Indonesian Institute of Chemical Engineers (BKK-PII), Federation of Indonesia Chemical Industry (FIKI), and Association of Indonesia Chemical Engineering Faculty (APTEKINDO) with support of Ministry of Industry, at Jakarta Convention Center, Indonesia. InaChem is Indonesia’s largest international trade fair and conference of chemical, petrochemical, fine & specialty chemical. Following the first session in last year, InaChem 2012 has attracted over 250 exhibitors from various business and professional activities home and abroad, e.g. chemical engineers from industry and academia, chief executives of the chemical plants (Petrochemicals, Oil and Gas, Fertilizers, oleo-chemicals, agro-chemicals etc.), research institutions, etc. The general program mainly includes a keynote speech made by Mr. M. China Regulatory Compliance Workshop Germany 2012-June 12

June 12 2012, REACH24H held “China Regulatory Compliance Workshop Germany” in Hamburg, Germany. In the workshop provided an overview on the management and implementation of several Chinese chemical regulations – China New Chemical Substance Notification (China NCSN), China GHS and other regulations in China, including pesticide, cosmetic, additive area. The conference had attracted over 50 audiences who are decision makers of all disciplines in chemical supply chain and wish to enhance their knowledge and facilitate their participation in the Chinese market. The Wercs EU User Group 2012, Paris, France

June 6-8 2012, Dr. Renne Liang and Ms. Crystal Yang, BD manager from REACH24H Consulting Group participated in the Wercs EU User Group 2012. The conference offered a variety of Wercs topics, including ETL, PowerDRAW, 6.1 upgrade, GHS labels and WERCS GPS. As invited speakers, Dr. Liang addressed the topic of “Overview of China’s GHS Classification”, and their presentation got warm feedback from audiences, who are mainly from MSDS Authoring Software and Services, Retail Suppliers, Green Chemistry and Sustainability Solution areas. Milan Workshop Special Coverage

On 6 June 2012, the Milan Workshop, co-organized by REACH24H, Federchemica, and Selerant at Federchimic Auditorium, has provided the EU chemical businessmen a brand-new update of China’s chemical regulations about registration, classification and labeling, packaging. The conference has attracted over 120 regulatory specialists or HSE managers of chemical related companies from Italy and other European countries aimed at entering China market. And China’s implementation of GHS and its governance on hazardous chemicals were elaborated both in technical and legislative perspectives by the Chinese experts from NRCC-SAWS and REACH24H. A practical Asian Chemical Regulation Workshop is Held in the Heart of Europe

Frankfurt, 28th October 2011 One day, 30 attendees, with more than 6 practical topics were discussed in the seminar of “Asian Chemical Regulation Workshop” organized by REACh24h Consulting Group. – Preparing for New Chemical Notification under China REACH

[caption id="attachment_11064" align="alignleft" width=""]China REACh Workshop, Brussels 2010[/caption]This year has been a challenging one for the global chemical industry, with the revision of Chinese chemical regulatory frameworks. The Chinese Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) promulgated Decree No. 7 – ‘Measures on Environmental Management of New Chemical Substances’ (also known as ‘China New Chemical Substance Notification’ – China NCN) in 2009, which revised the initial 2003 Measures. The revised Measures came into effect on 15th October 2010.
