As an antimicrobial agent in process water used in the production, processing and preparation of poultry and meat products.

The components of the FCS will not exceed 2000 ppm peroxyacetic acid, 1474 ppm hydrogen peroxide, and 118 ppm 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid in spray, wash, rinse, dip, chill, and scald water for whole or cut poultry or meat carcasses, parts, trims, and organs.

As a mineral pigment dispersant in the manufacture of food-contact paper and paperboard, except for use in contact with infant formula and human milk (see Limitations/Specifications).

The FCS may be used in coatings at a level not to exceed 1.25 weight percent of solid pigment. The FCS may be used under Conditions of Use A through H, as described in Table 2. The FCS is not for use in contact with infant formula and human milk. Such uses were not included as part of the intended use of the substance in the FCN.

No. 7664-93-9), and 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid (CAS No. 2809-21-4), and, optionally, ethanol (CAS Reg. No. 64-17-5).

As an antimicrobial for use as a spray on select edible seeds (e.g., chia, flax, hemp) and nuts (e.g., almond, cashew, and walnut).

The components of the FCS application mixture will not exceed 229 parts per million (ppm) peroxyacetic acid (PAA), 1043 ppm hydrogen peroxide (HP), and 25 ppm 1-hydroxyethylidene-1,1-diphosphonic acid (HEDP) on treated seeds and nuts. The seeds and nuts shall be subject to either a rinse with potable water or a water-ethanol mixture after treatment. The treated edible seeds can be consumed directly or further processed into flour, protein or oil. However, treated nuts are not intended to be further processed.

For use at levels up to 15% by weight in repeated-use nitrile rubber articles for contact with all types of food under Conditions of Use A through H, as described in Tables 1 and 2. The FCS is not for use in contact with infant formula and human milk. Such uses were not included as part of the intended use of the substance in the FCN.

For use at a thickness of 0.1 to 0.5 micrometers. The FCS may be used in contact with food types I, II, III, IV, V, VIB, VII, VIII, and IX under Conditions of Use A through H, as described in Tables 1 and 2. Coatings containing the FCS will be applied to Nylon 6 films. The Nylon 6 film will comply with FDA regulations for the intended use. The FCS is not for use in contact with infant formula and human milk. Such uses were not included as part of the intended use of the substance in the FCN.
