The seeds and nuts shall be subject to either a rinse with potable water or a water-ethanol mixture after treatment. The treated edible seeds can be consumed directly or further processed into flour, protein or oil. However, treated nuts are not intended to be further processed. |

Coatings containing the FCS will be applied to Nylon 6 films. The Nylon 6 film will comply with FDA regulations for the intended use. The FCS is not for use in contact with infant formula and human milk. Such uses were not included as part of the intended use of the substance in the FCN.
