On Dec. 3, 2019, China GAC updated the list of enterprises which have been granted infant formula overseas manufacturer registration approval in China. 5 countries including Ireland, Germany, France, Netherland and New Zealand are involved in the latest updates.

According to “Administrative Provisions on Registrationin of Overseas Manufacturers of Imported Foods (exposure draft)” issued by GAC on Nov. 26, overseas manufacturer registration may be subject to more stringent supervision in future.
