REACH24H’s European Seminar receives a great success

June 20, REACH24H’s European Seminar was held in Basel, which was followed by its counterpart in Cologne, Germany. The two seminars have received a great success with over 60 people’s participation. We brought our European clients the latest chemical regulatory development in China, presenting practical solutions for regulatory compliance concerns. REACH24H’s Global Market Manager Helen Ye , together with Eric Sun who interpreted the China GHS and China Hazardous Chemical Registration, and seasoned expert Martin Hu in realms of China NCSN and China cosmetics, presided over the seminar.

Martin Hu

Senior Specialist of China REACH and China Cosmetics Regulation

Mr. Martin Hu is a recognized expert in Chinese New Chemical Substance Management Regulation (‘China REACH’) and cosmetics regulations in China. He has been engaged in more than 300 substances SIEF and consortium management under EU REACH Regulation in his early career. Mr. Hu has been invited as speaker in various international and domestic chemical regulatory workshops/conferences and published several articles in worldwide media, e.g. Chemical Watch. As a project manager, Mr. Hu has gathered rich experience in the area of ‘China REACH’ through around 200 new chemical notifications submitted to CRC-MEP, covering all notification types (R&D Record Notification, IECSC supplementation, Simplified Notification and Regular Notification) since late 2010. He also possesses expertise in China cosmetics regulations and started to expand new research in this area. Meanwhile he has a close relationship with local regulatory experts and government authorities, which enables him to keep track of the latest development in regulatory affairs.

Eric Sun

Regulatory Compliance Specialist

Mr. Sun has rich experience in classification and labeling (C&L) and compiling the safety data sheets (SDS) under requirements of China GHS. He has been particularly engaged in the training of China GHS and hazardous chemical regulations for the international companies including Würth Group, Vaillant GmbH, Coloplast A/S, Cardolite Corporation and Daimler-Benz. Currently, he has focused on hazardous chemical regulations in China, mainly the Regulations on the Control over Safety of Hazardous Chemicals” (Decree 591)

Helen Ye

Global Regulatory Affairs Department Manager in REACH24H

As a senior expert in chemical regulatory compliance, she has been providing chemical regulatory consultancy since 2007 and has successfully led the technical team of REACH24H to solve EU REACH regulatory issues for more than 4000 thousand clients from all over the world. She has been the key person in REACH24H’s communication with enforcement authorities both from China and abroad, such as ECHA, CRC-MEP, NRCC, etc. Her current focus is on chemical regulations based in China, including China New Chemical Substance Notification, China GHS, China Cosmetics and Hazardous Chemical Management. She has comprehensive understanding of regulatory affairs in China and rich experiences in providing solutions in serving company’s regulatory compliance need before entering Chinese market.
