The global cosmetic industry is gradually recovering from COVID’s impact, and enterprises are seeking partners and opportunities for a larger leap forward. As is widely recognized, the APAC region has been the largest market in the beauty and personal care sector, accounting for 36% of the global market. Cosmetic regulations in APAC are also evolving violently along with market trends.
Being a close watcher of global cosmetic regulatory changes, REACH24H was honoured to join, inspire, and share regulatory insights with all the participants at in-cosmetics Asia.
Seongmin (Mike) Sohn, general manager of REACH24H KOREA Co., Ltd, delivered his in-depth interpretation of the Cosmetic Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR) and took a step further in introducing the impact of CSAR on enterprises whose target markets include China. Moreover, since in-cosmetics Asia mainly focuses on cosmetic ingredients, Mike thoroughly analyzed China’s regulatory policies regarding cosmetic ingredients, bringing as much information as possible to the audience.
Besides, due to his expertise and prestige in the cosmetics industry, Mike had been invited for the third time to be one of the experts in the international jury to recognize the leading innovations in the field of cosmetic ingredients.
