REACH24H participated in GlobalChem 2014 as a sponsor. It is the third time that REACH24H has patronized the annual event. The conference is a prestigious gathering which attracts chemical companies from around the world. During the three-day conference, our exhibition area was frequented by old clients, attendees from companies facing regulatory issues in China, and relevant organizations seeking cooperation opportunities.

GlobalChem conference took place in Baltimore, US from March 3th to 5th. The event was co-organized by ACC(American Chemistry Council) , SOCMA (Society of Chemical Manufacturers and Affiliates) and the largest one of its kind in US to discuss regulatory affairs emerging from around the world, such as TSCA, EU REACH and Asian regulations.

Requirements and obligations involved in most speakers’ interpretations based on their expertise and growing experiences appeared strategically significant. This conference was critical for attendees to grasp insightful clues of future regulatory development, which would be in a long run decisive factor to business policies.  Regulatory affair is a global concern this year. This year’s event is primarily focused on chemical regulations in North America and high-ranking local officials deliver on-site presentations. Not only did those experts address regulatory hot spots in Asia every now and again, a session focused on regulatory affairs in Asia was held. During this session, Jerry Yan, who was the representative of REACH24H, presented the latest study on regulatory environment in China as the result of year-long effort to assist over 1000 companies worldwide. Jerry’s speech was pretty much a microcosm regarding key problems on regulatory affairs in China. However, lack of attention to these problems gave rise to massive impact on companies. It largely conformed to the conference’s globe-oriented concept to make more and more attendees raise concerns about Asia-Pacific region.
