The European Commission (the EC) is now conducting the follow-up study of the “Cumulative cost assessment for the chemical industry” program. This program is a comparative study on the cumulative regulatory costs for the chemical industry in China, India and the United States, and the European. The main objective of the new study is to understand the differences in regulatory frameworks and how these affect the respective business sectors, under the format of case studies. We will conduct surveys to provide recommendations for business representatives.

With our specialization in providing global chemical compliance solutions and strong brand recognition, REACH24H Consulting Group has been awarded with the distinguished opportunity to collaborate with the EC in the China region since May 2016. We assist the EC to conduct survey with respective business representatives in the chemical industry. The stage of evaluating the regulations and designing survey lasted for three months. We are now entering the third stage of the study, which is to assess the companies and business representatives in the industry.

This survey is helpful for companies wish to examine and assess their own cumulative costs when meeting regulations under the Chinese chemical legislation.

We want to evaluate the regulatory costs in different countries through run survey to learn about companies’ spending on hazardous chemical management and maintaining factories’ safety in industries like chemical, cosmetics, agrochemical, pesticides, plastics, and rubber etc. From business representatives’ perspective, we want to evaluate the impact and differential costs of chemical regulations within legislations of different countries. Therefore, should we potentially see underlying issues regulations on chemical each country has on respective business sectors.
