Data requirement has been updated in the last quarter of 2017 and MEE is now preparing for the revision of Order No.7 and the Guidance Document. The latest news from the authority will be introduced.
Update on Asia Pacific Region, focused on Japan & Korea
Published revision of regulation in Japan and South Korea will be introduced in this section. Updates from other AP regions such as Australia and the Philippines will be delivered as well.
Update on Taiwan
There were many updates released in the last year in Taiwan. Amended acts, new inventory, testing methods will be introduced. And finally, case study will be delivered for typical chemical substances registration in these AP regions.
Update on GHS implementation of Asia Pacific Region
There will be introduction of the background of GHS including its scope, function, etc. Mainly focus on changes in the latest version of the UN GHS-7th version in comparison with the previous version. Then will focus on recent development and specified concerns of GHS in Asia Pacific Regions including China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Austria and New Zealand, Indonesia, respectively and also differences on implementation of GHS in Asia Pacific countries mainly including differences on hazard classifications, compilation of SDS and labels and how we comply with requirements of GHS compliance in these countries.
