Background

Measures for the Environmental Management Registration of New Chemical Substances (MEE Order No.12) was implemented on January 1, 2021. It aims to standardize the registration of environmental management of new chemical substances, effectively evaluate and manage possible risks new chemicals might bring to environment in China, so as to protect the ecology, environment and public health. MEE Order No. 12 is the replacement of the former MEP Order No.7. It released the industry’s burden from regulatory compliance to a great extent. At the same time, this regulation places more attention to supervision to encourage industries to comply to the regulation more actively, which is also in line with China’s current emphasis on regulation.

Ever since MEE Order No.12’s implementation, REACH24H has provided technical support to industries and summarized useful skills and tips in practice, based on which we have prepared this webinar series. The webinar series consists of three webinars to be held in September and October.
