Background


Taiwan region existing chemical substances standard registration has been attracting much attention from the industries. On March 11, 2019, Taiwan EPA designated the first batch of 106 Priority Existing Chemical substances subject to standard registration and issued Guidance for Standard Registration of Designated Chemical Substances by stages (draft) (hereinafter referred to as the “Draft”). After collecting and evaluation of the opinions from other juridictions and the chemical industries, finally, Taiwan EPA issued the long awaited Guidance on Existing Chemical Substances Standard Registration (Version 1) (hereinafter referred to as the “Guidance”) on June 9, 2020.

In this webinar, compared with the Draft, we will mainly focus on the registration process, data requirements and review progress according to the Guidance, in order to help enterprises figure out the registration strategy, get it well prepared and ensure the entrance to Taiwan market in compliance.
