Joint Registration of Existing Chemicals after K-REACH Amendment Featured

The revised K-REACH took effect on January 1, 2019, adopting new registration mechanisms in South Korea. Pre-registration for existing chemicals is necessary to be eligible for the phase-in registration grace period. Phased-in registration should be complied with based on tonnage band by 2030. The first deadline of 31 December 31, 2021 for existing chemicals manufactured/imported in quantities of 1,000 tonnes per year or more is approaching. Many enterprises have been preparing for the joint registration. This webinar will introduce the procedures and requirements of K-REACH joint registration, as well as data sharing on chemicals.

Ms. Nana Liu is from the Industrial Chemicals Department of REACH24H, mainly focusing on the research of K-REACH, K-OSHA and CCA regulations. She graduated from Yonsei University in South Korea with master’s degree in organic chemistry. She has 7 years of working experience in chemical industry in South Korea and has in-depth knowledge of chemical regulatory affairs, especially for K-REACH compliance work.

Anthea Zhou
Technical Supervisor

Ms. Anthea Zhou is the technical leader of K-REACH team in REACH24H. She got master’s degree in applied chemistry and has almost 8 years of experience in global chemical/pesticides/disinfectants regulatory compliance work, especially in EU-REACH and K-REACH. Besides, she is often invited to give training in enterprises or make a speech in seminars on global chemical compliance.

Qiwei Zhang
Regulatory Affairs Consultant
 

Mr. Qiwei Zhang is from the Japanese Business Department . He graduated from Waseda University with a master’s degree in Sports Biochemistry. Currently, he is mainly responsible for the chemical regulatory affairs in China, Korea, Taiwan; and provides regulatory compliance service of global GHS
