EU: ECHA’s 2025 Enforcement Priorities Focus on Imports and Online Sales
The ECHA’s Enforcement Forum has set out its plan and enforcement priorities for 2025, including controls on imports, online sales, and the classification and labeling requirements for mixtures, including biocides. The Forum also started work for the next EU-wide harmonised enforcement project (REF-14) that focuses on ensuring compliance with classification and labeling requirements for hazardous mixtures in consumer products like electronic cigarettes or air fresheners.
The Forum also agreed that its next pilot enforcement project will focus on only representatives (OR) who register imported substances, including those in mixtures. (EU REACH)

EU: New CLP Regulation Requires Hazard Classification for Endocrine Disruptors and PBM Substances by 2025
The updated EU Classification, Labelling, and Packaging (CLP) Regulation, which includes new categories for Endocrine Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs) and substances with Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Mobile (PBM) properties, is now in effect. Ukraine: REACH Regulation Comes Into Force in 2025

USA: TSCA Reporting Requirements for PFAS Begin in 2025
Under the final PFAS reporting rule of the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), companies must report information regarding PFAS or PFAS-containing products manufactured or imported between 2011 and 2022.
