MUNICH, October 11, 2024 – On October 10, 2024, the CRAC Europe 2024 – Chemical Session officially concluded, marking the successful end of this year’s CRAC series. Focused on chemical compliance and hazardous chemical policies, the conference brought together industry experts to share strategies for navigating regulatory challenges across the Asia-Pacific region and beyond. At the opening ceremony, Hannah Zhuang, Head of APAC Chemical Regulatory Affairs at REACH24H, welcomed participants and expressed her gratitude to the companies in attendance for choosing CRAC as their resource for exploring APAC regulatory trends. She highlighted CRAC’s role since 2009 as a professional platform for global chemical companies to access regulatory updates and market insights, emphasizing the event’s goal of fostering industry collaboration and growth.

Conference sessions examined China’s new chemical registration under MEE Order No. 12, stressing the importance of thorough compliance for market access. Taiwan Region‘s PEC registration deadline, India’s CMSR and BIS regulations, and South Korea’s chemical registration frameworks were also explored, offering valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities these evolving regulations present to businesses.

 

In addition to compliance, the event featured specialized sessions on the safe transport of dangerous goods in China and the management of hazardous chemicals.
