Ms. Alva Chen is a recognized expert in China New Chemical Substance Notification under MEP Order 7 as well as EU REACH registration and risk assessment. She has extensive hands-on experience in data gap analysis, project management, exposure scenario development, etc.
Shannon L. Gainey, Ph.D.
Technical and Regulatory Director
Shannon has a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and nearly 16 years of experience supporting the regulatory compliance efforts of major chemical companies. She has served both large and small chemical companies in various regulatory roles and is currently Technical and Regulatory Director for REACH24H USA. Prior to joining REACH24H USA, Shannon served in a variety of roles with multi-national organizations, where she supported the global compliance of products in various markets. Shannon has a wealth of knowledge and experience with Global Chemical Control Laws including the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) administered by the US EPA, the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) administered by the FDA and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard. Shannon’s global regulatory expertise and strong business acumen afford her a strategic vision to navigate the regulatory and compliance challenges that too often accompany new technologies and growth into new markets.
